I have an amazing friend. She is beautiful inside and out. She is smart, a wonderful mother, she makes amazing and healthy food, has an adorable and loving husband, Paul James Pouthier and the cutest sons ever. Her name is Stanzi Allan Pouthier. You’ve seen her on here before in my blogs, she has contributed with information on nutrition and cleanses.
She was diagnosed with cancer nearly a year ago, a shock to all of us, but we were all delighted that she pulled through. You could imagine our horror when this summer we learned that the cancer had returned and she was told there was no cure for her.
There have been so many people in my life who have had cancer (including my husband), who have died of cancer and who are currently fighting cancer. Cancer is a word I loathe and one that absolutely no one should have to hear has invaded their lives.
The community I live in has come together in force to support our dear friend and her family and you have a chance to help out too. Though you may not necessarily know Stanzi, she is your global sister and a person who has given so much to so many. It’s our turn to do what we can to give back to her.
This Saturday please be sure to come to Sky Baby Yoga and Pilates Studio‘s (75 Main. St., Cold Spring, NY 10516, (845) 265-4444) fundraising event. Classes will be held all day beginning at 8:00 AM for donation and a reception with live music, food and an auction will be at 7:00 that night. All proceeds will go directly to Stanzi and her family.
